Import Recipes Directly from Instagram! 📸

I'm really excited to share a new feature I've been working on - you can now import recipes directly from Instagram into Pantry Pilot with just a few clicks!

Why Instagram Recipe Import?

Instagram has become a go-to platform for food creators and like many of you, instagram recipes would get buried in my saves, or I'd take screenshots that would get lost in my camera roll. I hope these new changes make saving recipes from Instagram a breeze!

How It Works

I've tried to make importing a recipe from Instagram as simple as possible:

1. Copy the Instagram Post URL - Find a recipe post you love on Instagram
2. Paste into Pantry Pilot - Use the recipe import feature and paste the URL
3. Done! - Pantry Pilot automatically extracts the recipe details and saves it to your collection

One thing that was important to me was preserving the source link, so you can always go back to the original post.

What Gets Imported

When you import a recipe from Instagram, Pantry Pilot intelligently extracts:

• Recipe title and description
• List of ingredients
• Cooking method and instructions
• Source attribution with a link back to the original post
