The first version of Pantry Pilot has launched publicly and includes a range of features designed to speed up your weekly shop.
Pantry Pilot was born out of a frustration with the traditional grocery shopping experience offered by supermarkets. Unlike buying a pair of shoes, meal planning and grocery shopping is a repetitive process.
In late 2022, I started writing some of the first scripts that would become Pantry Pilot. The idea was to automate as much of my weekly shop as possible while still providing flexibility and choice.
Now, Pantry Pilot is available to everyone and includes the following features.
Collect recipes from anywhere
It's super easy to import a recipe into Pantry Pilot - no need to fill out forms. You can import recipes from nearly anywhere, including links, photos of recipe books, Instagram, and emails. Pantry Pilot deconstructs the recipes into individual ingredients, ready for your shopping list. Read more about the recipe import feature.
Add ingredients to your shopping list
Never forget an ingredient again, you can add ingredients from your recipes to your shopping list with a single click.
Complete your shopping through Woolworths online (beta)
Pantry Pilot will automatically match your shopping list items to products in Woolworths online. Complete your online shop in minutes.
